Explaning the Yields

The yields displayed in Hippo's vaults are in annualized percentage yield (APY)s

APY is different then annual percentage return (APR) since APY is the APR compounded daily. To convert APY back to it's non compounded value use the link below

As with the website title, don't quit your day job YET but do try to invest some of your free cash since the current high yields in crypto blue-chip coin won't last forever.

Also, there are two components of the APYs, the LP rewards and LP fees. The LP rewards are earned LPs to date that you see next to the harvest button.

The Farm Rewards are displayed in Earned while the LP token themselves also accumulate value

While the LP fees are the pool transaction fees that accumulates in the LP token itself over time.

The Track LP Composition Link from Zap Menu allows you to see LP fees accumulating live on your token pairs

To track the LP transaction fees accumulating in your LP tokens in real time use this link

Some LP pair such as CAKE-BNB has much higher LP rewards component hence you'll see the APY primarily constitute of the value in the earned field while others such as BNB-BUSD has higher LP fees components hence has much less earned component even though the LP tokens content is increasing which you can track by using the link above.
